Abyss, is one of the heaviest songs on the album. War drums and roaring guitars against a-hero’s-journey acoustic guitar melodies, Abyss warns of the all-encompassing consequences of arrogance.

Effectively commencing the VICEODE story, this chapter sees Ediah Cove through the eyes of a hubristic sea captain who refuses to change paths, despite being faced with a massive, all-devouring whirlpool.
